THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY OF 2018

That time of year again. …Nobody really wants to read anymore do they?? Well, here is the slideshow of some of my fav moments of 2018 and if you want to read about my top 5 moments then they are below :)

Taking time to look back on mine and Mary's year. What another fun one. So many amazing moments to talk about but I'm only going to give you 5 for now, as Mary and I are going to do our top 5 moments of each wedding as we blog this year. I'm so sorry I’m so rubbish at social media and blogging but I promise to do better this year!!

The best moment has to be my gorgeous friend Jen’s wedding to the equally as gorgeous Paul at Coolbawn Quay. Its not just a top moment of 2018 it was just a top moment for me. They really are the happiest and funniest couple to be around and I was so honoured to be allowed capture their day :)

1. MARY

Number 1 has to be my number one Mary - who having her there for most weddings (she's allowed days off right?) brings the fun and calm to my day. Lots of the images in the slideshow were taken by her and I'm so happy to say shes with me for another year before she launches her own wedding photography career (TG) She is on Instagram now as @loveheartsforeyes so go give her a follow

2. SNOW DAY

Remember the crazy snow? Well I had Claire & Joe's wedding in Coolbawn Quay. We spent the week watching the weather and postponing it day by day. Claire and friends were snowed in there with many guests and Coolbawn Quay were posting the most amazing photos of it in the snow. Myself and GEORGE were ready to make the big journey once we got the ok. Sadly Claire's parents were snowed in in Kildare so the wedding couldn't go ahead. We remedied it by having the best day in Nov.

3. FUN IN THE SUN -

Even though I got my winter sun in Bali in 2018 (bliss) we also got the most cracking summer right? Thankfully I had a quiet June and I enjoyed every single bit of my beach days, friends hangouts and beers at the Barge. Looking back now I am never going to worry about bookings as things happen for a reason and summer of 2018 has made me reevaluate. 2019 I have made sure to block off weekends for hangouts and holidays.

4. FIRST DANCE

I have to say it goes to Ciara & Alan's amazing first dance. The RUDIMENTAL SONG would not be the usual tune you'd hear and  I could not believe how EVERYONE of all ages embraced the beats and went mental on the dancefloor. Including Mary and me :n

5. SPEECHES

I think Conor and Edel's wedding speeches were a real highlight for me. You spend just a day with people, it really is crazy to think that speeches can affect you so much. This is a general thing for Mary and I. I have often met Mary after some speeches and we've had to hug it out as they've made us cry! On this occasion, I don't think I have laughed and cried so much in 30 minutes. Beautiful people, with beautiful stories and I'm so excited to see them all again this year for Ciara & Shane's wedding.

I have so many more…but you’ll have to wait until I blog again!
